Before half term Key Stage One celebrated Chinese New Year together in the hall. We listened to the story of Chinese New Year and found out that 2018 is the year of the Dog. We found out about Chinese New Year Traditions and looked at some clothes and items from China which Mrs Dallow has collected on her travels. Some children got to try on the Chinese traditional outfit. The children in Earl’s Hill class had made a Chinese Dragon with Mrs Dallow and we all had a turn at being inside the Dragon! Back in class we made Chinese lanterns and did Chinese colouring in whilst listening to Chinese Music. We had great fun! SDC15379
