On Friday 29th June 10 children from KS2 travelled to Manchester City Training Ground to take part in the schools Knockout Tournament, which had been arranged by Neil Prescott from Ballsports community coaching.
Holy Trinity team had a fantastic morning and won the Shield tournament after playing 9 matches and having 3 penalty shootouts scoring 2-1. In the last penalty shootout round 9 members of the team stepped up to take a shot.
The children were lucky enough to meet professional footballer Lukas Nmecha who is a striker for Manchester City
