Our week in Lawley

We started our week with a fantastic trip to Whittington Castle, which the children have enjoyed discussing all week.  In English, children have been busy completing their independent newspaper reports based on Jack and the Beanstalk.  Everyone has worked hard with remembering all the skills they have learnt over the term, I enjoyed reading them all!  In Maths, we have revisited numbers to 50, with children being given a number and them showing it and writing the number word, as well as looking at one more and one less.  In Science, we did another whole class investigation to find the most waterproof material for an umbrella to keep Lawley Bear dry.  The children were eager to keep Lawley Bear dry, however he got drenched when we used the fabric!  Thank you to all everyone who attended our Mother’s Day Lunch, it was lovely to see such a great turn out.
