It has been a busy couple of weeks in Haughmond, the children are thoroughly enjoying learning about the Titanic and have said they are looking forward to exploring the topic in more depth.

In our English lessons, the children have been writing a letter to a family member as if they have survived the Titanic. They used computer skills to type this up.

In Maths, we have continued to learn about using negative numbers and calculating intervals across zero. The children all worked well in groups to order negative numbers and wrote STEM sentences explaining their findings.

A big well done to the children who have been practising their spellings and reading every night at home. 📒👏
