This week in Lawley our focus in English has been writing a short narrative.  As a whole school we have entered an Academy writing competition called Shining a Light.  In Lawley we have used a picture of a tree with lights shining and write about who we think is in the tree and what is making the lights shine.  In maths we have been completing tally charts and pictograms, including trying different flavour crisps to make a whole class tally chart.  In music we used the instruments to go alongside our song for the half term, In The Groove. On Wednesday we took part in a whole school assembly by the Kenyan School Project where we learnt about how their charity work supports children and schools in Kenya.
