We have all been spending more time with our families over the last few months. Have a chat with your child about what they have liked about spending time with their family during lockdown. Here are some family pictures. Talk about the pictures with your child. Ask your child if any of the families look like yours. How is your family made up?

Today I’d like your child to write sentences saying what they like about familiy members. Draw heart templates with lines on pieces of paper for them to write in. They might look something like this…..

Please remind them to use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. Encourage correct letter formation and remind them to use the tricky words.
