Does the size of a meteorite affect the size of a crater?

The children were split into 6 groups, each group had a bowl of flour, glitter, a ruler and a ball. We then swapped balls to determine if the crater size would change depending on the ball size and recorded our findings.  The glitter was to show the impact!
