Today, Long Mynd received a special delivery package.  It was wrapped in hazard paper, dream catcher attached and had a cackling noise coming from inside.

We asked the brave Lola to open the package ( being careful as we didn’t know what was inside). After a few screams and shouts from the children the package was opened and the contents were revealed.

Inside we found a copy of George’s Marvellous Medicine, glitter, a dream catcher, oils, liquids, powder, bottles, a witch dress, a bat and a few extra items.

This is the start to our new topic ‘Potions’ and over the next few weeks we will be making potions, writings spells an explanation texts about medicines, looking at different materials, changing states and lots more.
