We have had a fantastic start to our new topic. The children have heard and worked on the stories ‘Peace at Last’, ‘Can’t you Sleep Little Bear?’ and ‘When the World is Ready for Bed?’

We made sock soft toys called ‘Sockies’ in Expressive Art and Design.

The Cygnets have been counting teddies in to bed in Maths and the Swans have been counting and learning about Part Whole Models.

To celebrate Bonfire Night we wrote firework words in glitter and wrote firework poems. We made streamers and did a firework dance in PE.

As our stunning start we have come to school in our pyjamas! The children all look amazing – thank you for supporting us with this. We are looking forward to our hot chocolate and toast this afternoon!
