Another busy week in Earls Hill! Our focus has been about remembrance and poppies this week. Our writing has been based on the book ‘Where the Poppies now Grow’.

We sequenced pictures from the story and wrote what was happening in the pictures. We created handprint poppies and wrote sentences about poppies. We also read and followed instructions to make poppies.

In maths we used poppies as counters in additions and tens frames activities.

We created some beautiful Georgia O Keefe inspired poppies in art.
