This week we have been learning about nocturnal animals.

We have used our nocturnal animal area to spot the animals and write about them. We have also pretended to be the animals.

   

   

  

  

  

 

In maths we counted arrangements of feathers and eggs

  

                         

 

and added one more ‘owl’ onto the branch and counted how many there were altogether

 

 

 

In Literacy we listened to the owl babies story and acted it out

and sorted nocturnal and diurnal animals

  

 

We made nocturnal animals using leaves

 

We were all very excited when a special visitor arrived in our class and brought a letter with them

    

 

In PE we did some yoga and went on an adventure with Tallulah the owlet

       

 

On Friday afternoon we had a party to celebrate the children who have had birthdays in September, October and November

   

     

 

What a busy week!

Next week is Art week in school.
