It’s Friday already! Where did the week go?
A great big thank you to all of you who have sent photographs of the work you’ve been doing at home and also the lovely activities you’ve been doing with your families. I’ve loved seeing the photographs of you enjoying the snow! I have been very happy to have given out so many Dojo points!
Our Literacy learning is continuing with the Jack and the Beanstalk story:

Now you have heard the story a few times, today I would like you to retell the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. That means that you tell the story yourself. To do this you can use things from around your house to use as the characters in the story or you can create the characters yourself.

Please could your grown up take some photographs of you retelling the story or maybe they could even video you! I would really love it if you would send them to me to see. You can send them to the class email or to class dojo.
Today you learned the ‘r’ sound in Phonics.
I would like you to make ‘rrrr’ sound while you roll around the floor! Then I would like you to move like a robot and when you move make the ‘r’ sound. Now make the ‘rrr’ sound as you run.

I would like you to read a book from Bug Club and practise forming your letters either on the formation sheets in your resource pack or in salt, water and a paintbrush, in shaving foam etc
