Hello everybody,
Firstly a great big thank you to everyone who donated to our wonderful planting day on Wednesday. We were amazed at the amount of lovely flowers and plants we were given. The children and parents had a lovely time and its experiences like these that they will remember for a very long time. Thank you all so very much.
It is wonderful to be able to invite parents back into school and be part of our school community.
We must send a big thank you to Homedene Farm Nurseries who gave one of our parents a discount on the flowers and plants they bought.
It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers being part of our school and the end result means we have a beautiful nursery garden.
We will shortly be working on our garden in the quad in the middle of school and also the area outside of our after school club building. If we have any parents or carers that enjoy gardening and can spare a little time or anyone who can help with donations of plants, pots, compost or garden decorations please let the school office know and we will add you to our helper list.
Here are the vast amount of photos from Nursery of all our helpers and the beautiful flowers they planted.
As you can see the children and adults have had a wonderful time and we thankyou again as our nursery garden looks great.
Thankyou to everyone again we really appreciate the continued support for Holy Trinity.
As well as our busy planting day we have also been doing the usual nursey activities. We have talked lots about sunflowers as Mrs Kenning visited a sunflower field and she brought in some real sunflowers for the children to see. This opened up lots of communication about colour and size.
We have been learning to butter our own crackers again and developing our independence skills. Your children are wonderful and so are you for all the support.
Thankyou once again.
From the nursery team
