Worship Ambassadors

Please meet our Worship Ambassadors. The children help with the daily acts of worship, whether it is the gather, acting out bible stories or send ( prayer). Worship leaders meet weekly to discuss how they can offer hope to others.

Worship is at the heart of the school day, where we have an act of worship every day, this can as a whole school, key stage, class or group. Worship can be lead by the children, adults or members of Holy Trinity Church.

Please see below link for one of our daily worships, which was finished by a prayer from one of our worship leaders

At the end of each half term, each class will choose a child who has displayed our school motto of hope, we call them our Beacons of Hope. This can be by showing hope for themselves, others or the world.

Last week the worship leaders took part in   CPD with Picture News where they learnt what makes a good worship and how to plan for a worship of their own. This involved a zoom session where the children were able to answer questions, see children in worship and create a worship tailored to them.

NEXT STEPS: to plan and lead their own worship.

The children were able to monitor and feedback to teachers about in-class worship on a Tuesday. they visited every class across the school and watched the gather, windows, mirrors, doors and send.

Today we were fortunate enough to visit a number of places of worship as part of our RE curriculum. We visited a mosque, synagogue, church and cathedral.  The worship leaders were able to light a candle and say a prayer on behalf of everyone at Holt Trinity.
