Caradoc Maths Home Learning Monday 20th April

Well done to all of those children who were able to share examples and photographs of their Maths Challenges. I can see that you have really enjoyed your home learning.

I would like you to ‘sharpen’ your times tables skills by practising every day. You could use one of the Maths games you made a couple of weeks ago or design a new one. The online game ‘Hit the button’ is great for practising answering times tables questions quickly:

Then I would like you to build on the work you have done in finding fractions. There is an online lesson and an activity sheet for you to complete along with an answer sheet which is for grownups helping you with your work.

Before you start, you may want to gather some resources. Don’t worry if you don’t have the same type of resources you are used to using in school. You could use lego blocks, coffee beans, crayons or even smarties!

The first part of the teaching video has a ‘Flashback 4’ this is so that you can practise Maths skills you have already learnt.
