Christmas Fayre

A huge THANK YOU goes to the PTA who made today’s Christmas Fayre so amazing for the children despite the current circumstances. Each and every child went home today with some kind of prize or sweets and we had a wonderful afternoon playing on the games and activities. So much hard work went into organising, setting up and cleaning down between family bubble visits and we cannot thank you enough! Hawkstone Class had a great time and enjoyed spreading some festive cheer!

Christmas Dinner and Christmas Jumper Day

We have been super busy this week and also made Christmas Crowns for Christmas Dinner Day!

Our Christmas dinner was so tasty, we had the best lunch time together so thank you very much to everybody in the kitchen and all of the staff who made Christmas dinner possible for all of their hard work!

Hawkstone Star of the Week 💫

A huge well done to our star of the week this week Kaiden Waite!

Kaiden has worked extremely hard in Music this past week and has spent time at home and in school learning all of the words to our Christmas songs (which you will all be able to hear next week so watch this space). Kaiden took the competition very seriously and was an excellent role model to the rest of the class in our performance, without him our performance wouldn’t have been the same!

Also a big well don’t to the children who scored ten out of ten on their spellings last week…

Jeremy, Noah, Emma, Ala and Skyla.

A particular well done to Jane Hanmer who scored ten out of ten for the first time this term, well done Jane, keep up the good work.

Finally, I would like to congratulate all of their children in their reading efforts this term, the improvement in all of your reading ages has been incredible. I am so proud of your effort, enthusiasm and orogress. It is a pleasure to listen to Hawkstone class read.

A big shout out goes to Emma Doodson  who a few weeks ago achieved 100,000 words read and received the first Accelerated Reader trophy in Year 4.

Since then a number of children have been hot on Emma’s heels so well done to Georgie, Amneet, Ala, Freddie, Owen, Ava-Leigh and Skyla who have all achieved their Accelerated Reader medals for reading 60,000 words. Keep reading at every opportunity you get, you are so close to getting your trophies!
