Last term Clee class were very busy making a present for King Charles for his Coronation. As part of their Literacy topic they had been reading a book called ‘The Kings Pants’ and they all thought it was a good idea to send some new pants to the new King!
So, they busied themselves, decorated and coloured in some new pants for the King and parceled them up ready to post.
Mrs Meddins then escorted a handful of Clee class representatives to the local post office. The lady in the post office helped the children to weigh their parcel and gave them a label.
This week we had a VERY SPECIAL delivery from Buckingam Palace.
The King sent a very special letter of thanks to the children of Clee Class for their colourful pants and very kind letter. The children have all been so excited to receive this special letter from the palace, we have given all the children a copy.
