This week the additional work is linked to the story ‘We’re going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen. Watch the story  here.

Monday – Make a list of things you would need to take with you if you and your family were going on a similar adventure

Tuesday – Draw a picture of the bear and write the words from the story to describe him around the outside. (Two big goggly eyes, two furry ears, one shiny nose etc.)

Wednesday – Imagine and write another page for the story. What other hurdle might the family encounter? How will they get through it?

Thursday – Talk about the story and the prepositions in it (over, through and under). Create an obstacle course where you have to go over, through and under.

Friday – Join in with this cosmic kids yoga linked to the story.
