Friday 5th March 2021. Literacy home learning for Clee Class and Earls Hill Reception (Cygnets)

Good morning Reception children and families!

Today is the last day of home learning and being in a different bubble for the children who are in school. On Monday everyone will be back in school in our classroom and with our friends again.

Here is the ‘Lost and Found’ story for you to listen to if you wish:

For our literacy activity today I would like you to think about two things and then talk to your grown up or someone in your house about them:

First I would like you to think about going back to school on Monday. What are you most looking forward to? What is going to make you happy? It might be that you are looking forward to seeing your friends again. It might be that you are looking forward to playing with a special toy.

The second thing I would like you to think about is what you have enjoyed doing most while you haven’t been in school or while you’ve been in the bubble in Nursery if you’ve been coming to school. It might be that you have enjoyed doing a certain activity. It might be something that you have enjoyed doing with your family or a new friend if you’ve been in school.

When you have thought about these I would like you to draw a picture and write about one of them.

I look forward to seeing some photographs of your pictures and writing.

Today I would like you make a den or a cosy area and read with your grown up inside it.

Reading Den - St Mary's Fownhope

I would also like you to write a list of the friends you are looking forward to seeing when you come to school on Monday.
