Place all the tricky words face up on the floor. Ask your child to fly like a plane and land on a certain word.

Look at this picture of a plane with your child.

Where do you think it is flying to? Have a discussion with your child about the possibilities. Encourage vocabulary such as hot, cold, sunny, dry, holiday, beach etc. Please encourage your child to speak in full sentences. Let their imaginations run wild! If your child wants to, they can write about where they think the plane is going to. The most important thing for this activity though is encouraging conversation, using appropriate vocabulary, and speaking in full sentences.
