Today we are going to start our Maths by joining in the Numberblocks counting songs. The video lasts 17 minutes as there are quite a lot of songs! You can either listen to and and join in with them all or pause the video and watch it at another time.

You will need these resources to help you with the lesson:
- 1 – 9 number cards
- The tens frame
- You will also need 10 small objects you can count (Lego pieces, blocks, coins, buttons, pieces of dry pasta, small toy animals etc.)
- The number line

Now you know all about 1 more than, I thought you could practise by playing the Chopper Squad game. Chopper Squad is like the Helicopter Rescue game we play in school but instead of finding the number you have to find one more than. There are different numbers for you to choose to go up to!
