Another busy and exciting week! The reception children have stayed all day and have coped fantastically. I’m sure they will be ready for a rest this weekend!

In Literacy we have been working on the story ‘Let’s be Friends’. The cygnets had to find the story characters in the shaving foam and then write their name  and try to write the name of the friends in the story. Messy but fun!

We have worked on counting in lots of different ways this week.

In science we sorted animals. We talked about how we had sorted them. Then we learned about carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. We sorted animals into those categories.

In art we explored colour mixing. It was like magic!

We are learning about Judaism in RE. We heard about Moses parting the Red Sea. We tried to part water too!
