Baking with Miss Scoltock 👩🏻‍🍳

As some of you know, I love baking. This week, I made these yummy chocolate chip banana muffins.

The other day I spoke about us using this time to develop/ learn new skills. So with the supervision of an adult, why not have a go at developing your baking skills. You could have a go at baking these muffins or your own recipe. If you are baking please send me pictures!

Have a happy and safe weekend Haughmond.

100g butter
2 eggs
175g caster sugar

1tsp baking powder
3tsp milk
2 bananas (ripe and mashed)
100g chocolate chips

Method:

1) Pre heat your oven to 180 C/ Gas mark 6. Line a cupcake tray with 12 cases.
2) Mix together the butter and sugar until it is fluffy.
3) Add the eggs, milk and mix well before then adding the mashed banana. Mix ingredients together.
4) Add flour and baking powder- then mix well.
5) With a spoon stir in the chocolate chips.
6) Evenly portion out the mixture into your cupcake cases.
7) Cook for 20-25 minutes. To check your muffins are cooked pierce the centre of one of the muffins with a knife. If the knife comes out clean then they are cooked.
