What have Haughmond been up to?

Haughmond have had an extremely busy half term. All children have been enthusiastic towards all parts of the curriculum, especially to their studying of World War Two.

The children have thrived in all areas of the curriculum and this has shown through recent practise SATs papers. Year 6 have had lots of fun learning 1940’s dance routines in PE lessons, learning about the body and the circulatory system in Science and producing an excellent newspaper report on the Blitz. Some year 6 children, have been busy practicing three pieces of music, during percussion lessons with Mr Stone. Ready to perform at the music festival after half term.

We have had a busy half term from visiting RAF Cosford Museum to revising for our up coming SATs. Their hard work can be applauded. 👏

Finally, I would like to reiterate, what a fantastic half term year 6 have had. All of the children need a well deserved break ready to return and continue their hard work in the second half of the spring term.

Wishing everyone a happy and safe half term.
