Last week I set a writing competition where you had to write your own version of The Smartest Giant in Town. You were asked to design your own shop and items for George to buy, choose your own animals for George to meet and create your own song.

I have been blown away by the efforts of the children who have sent me work. I can see how hard you have worked, the efforts you have put in and how well you have followed my instructions. Thank you for sending me your competition writing.
