We’ve had a fun week in Lawley with World Bood Day celebrations.  In English we have looked at our new book, The a True Story of a The Three a Little Pigs, with children making predictions, discussing the book and acting out scenes they have remembered.  In Maths, children have been comparing lengths and heights, followed by measuring lengths and heights of various items in class using non standard units – cubes, hands or straws.  Children were busy during inside PE, learning how to move in different directions andbalancing on points such as their knees or elbows.  We have also started working towards our 40 acts of kindness by paying each other a compliment based on our World Book Day costumes.
