Hello Nursery children and families,

Here are some minibeast activity ideas for you to try…..

Make a caterpillar with your name or numbers. You can use bottle lids or coloured card. Can you sequence the numbers to make a caterpillar; what number can you get up to?

Decorate biscuits or cakes using red icing; choose a number; can you put the right number of spots (you could use raisins or chocolate buttons) on the ladybird to match the number?

Can you……….?

Make a spider out of some card and write a number on it. Can you put that amount of pegs onto the spider?

Play caterpillar count and see if you can sequence the numbers so that the caterpillar turns into a butterfly?
