Hello Nursery children and families,

 

Today we are going to start the day by joining in some zumba dances:

 

 

 

Now I would like your child to do a fingerprint fish bubbles counting activity. I would like you and your child to create an underwater scene. Make some fish to go in the scene and write a number on each fish. Can your child recognise the number and print or draw that number of bubbles?

 

 

 

 

Now I would like you to blow bubbles for your child to pop. Tell them they have to pop the bubble using the body part that you will say (e.g. elbow, foot, etc).This is a great way to develop attention and listening and learn the body parts

 

 

 

 

 

Now I would like your child to create a bubble family. They can do this in any way they like; collage, painting, drawing, chalking etc. When they have made their bubble family I would like them to choose a letter and name the members of their bubble family using the letter sound; for example if they choose the letter ‘m’ they could have Mark, Marie, Mummy, etc. To extend this activity your child could attempt to write or copy some of the names they have chosen
