Today you could make a rainbow using collage materials, paints, colouring etc. When you have finished your rainbow put it in a window in your house. Lots of families are counting rainbows as they are going for a walk. If you go for a walk, how many rainbows can you spot?

Encourage your child to help you hang out the washing. How many items of clothing have they hung out? Can they count them? If they put one more item on the washing line, how may will there be?

Can you make a weather chart together? What is the weather like each day of the week; sunny, windy, rainy? Can they draw a picture to symbolise the weather. As time passes count how many days have been sunny, windy etc.
