Easter is almost here and so I thought it would be great fun to go on an egg hunt!

Here is a story which is very similar to ‘We’re going on a Bear Hunt’ except that in this story we’re going on an egg hunt’. You can listen to this story together; joining in with the repeated phrases, making the noises of the animals and helping to count.

Then you can make some eggs ready to go an egg hunt around your house or garden. You can make the eggs by cutting out an egg shape from paper or card and then decorating them using pens, pencils, collage materials etc. Once they are finished write a number on each egg. The eggs then need to be hidden around your house or garden ready for you to go on the egg hunt. When you have found all of the eggs can you peg them onto some string, wool or a washing line and……here’s the tricky bit…….put the eggs in the correct order starting with number 1?
