We are proud to be working in partnership with the Diocese of Lichfield and Holy Trinity Church, Oswestry, in becoming a dementia-friendly school.
Our aim is to support all in our school community (pupils, staff and families):
- to be aware of dementia and to understand how to stay in step as patterns change through advancing dementia.
- affected by dementia to be welcomed, understood, respected and supported.
Our 2023-2024 School Action Plan:
1. To hold a whole school worship for pupils, staff and parents around demetia.
2. To send information leaflets out to all families
3. Develop links with New Fairholme Nursing Home
