On Tuesday of this week, Year 5 and 6 were lucky enough to experience a talk from the Orthodontist from Belmont in Shrewsbury.
He gave the children an informative discussion about what an orthodontist is and when perhaps they may need to visit one.
Mr Hughes volunteered to have an impression of his teeth taken. The steps were then explained to the children, on what would happen after their impressions were taken and what to expect from wearing a brace or train tracks on their teeth.
Some of our children at Holy Trinity have already visited the Orthodontist. The children were also advised on how they could look after their teeth if they were to have a brace fitted.
