The children have had a fantastic week. It was lovely to meet so many parents at our parents evening. We started our unit on addition and subtraction in Maths. The children have been using part whole models to represent addition and subtraction facts. I have been very impressed with the writing the children have produced based on our flight topic. They have been working very hard to improve their spelling and handwriting. In our topic lesson, the children have been creating timelines showing the history of flight. Friday was our sponsored run ‘to London’ which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Next week is Space week and we have lots of exciting activities planned.
