Following the Easter break, the children in Key Stage 1 and Reception will be given a new Reading Diary. These have been professionally printed to reflect the importance we place on reading at Holy Trinity. They also contain useful information to help parents support their child with reading.
We ask that you read with your child regularly and leave a short comment along with your signature in the diary. All children are rewarded for home learning and will receive a raffle ticket each time they read at home. Certificates and rewards are given to children who read a specific number of books.
We are also excited to inform you that we have purchased a new reading scheme ‘Bug Club’ which can be accessed by children at home. Your child will be given their own username and password so they can access their allocated books at
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to speak to your child’s teacher and we hope you enjoy to continue to share books at home with your child.
