What a fun Inspire Afternoon we have had today for the fabulous finish to our Walk the Plank topic.  Thank you to everyone who joined us, we were amazed with the fantastic turn out.

The children used their skills to decode a pirate picture message to discover where the hidden treasure chest was.  Everyone worked hard and decided the message successfully.  Thankfully we found the treasure chest and the golden chocolate coins inside!

Next everyone walked the plank, the children sat in a boat and walked the plank over the sea and into the water, it was so much fun! At the end we even had sone parents volunteer to walk the plank too, thank you, the children and staff loved it!

Finally we shared the stories we have been using in our English work.  The first was Portside Pirates, where we sang the song version, and the second was Pirates Love Underpants.  Both books have really captured the children and they have had some brilliant ideas and adjectives.
