Thursday 7th March is World Book Day and children are invited to dress up as their favourite character from a book/story. Our Reading Ambassadors are keen to purchase a subscription to ‘Storytime’ magazines to share at their weekly Reading Club and in order for them to do this we will be asking for a donation of £1 towards more resources to support ‘Reading for Pleasure’ at Holy Trinity.
Children Nursery, Clee and Earls Hill classes are going to focus on the book ‘The Colour Monster’ if your child is in one of these classes they may also choose to be a character from this book. These teachers will send more information via ClassDojo.
Children in Clee Class, Earls Hill, Lawley & Caradoc will all visit Booka Bookshop for reading time during the day so they will need to wear appropriate footwear and warm outerwear over their costumes on the day.
The Year 5 children have the opportunity to attend an author event in Weston Rhyn with the author Frank Cotrell Boyce. Please look out for more information about this.
