As our Fantastic Finish we have had a Space Day in Wrekin class.

We began by designing and making our own aliens from clay.

The children did a fantastic job of discussing and designing their aliens.

Next, the children were able to make their designs come to life using clay.

I was so impressed with how artistic Wrekin children were and how well they used the clay tools!

Afterwards we tried space food that astronauts eat in outer space!

Although most of us enjoyed the freeze-dried astronaut food we didn’t want to swap our fresh fruit snack for it!

Finally, we designed and made our own Lego space ships! There were some fantastic designs and the children were able to talk about the different parts of their creations confidently.

We’ve had a fantastic day in Wrekin class and the children have amazed me with their knowledge, enthusiasm and creativity!
