Stiperstones have worked extremely hard this week, creating heartfelt poetry and some beautiful artwork, using the medium of photography and oil pastels.

I was extremely proud of how respectful the children were on Wednesday, during our 1 minute silence at 11 o’clock.

In English, the children have been writing poems based upon the poem by John McCrae- Flanders Fields. They all worked extremely hard and produced some lovely poetry.

In art, the children created beautiful silhouette remembrance artwork, using a combination of photography and  oil pastels.

Finally I would like to congratulate Megan Evans and Larna Peate, for winning the creative home learning poppy competition.

Well done to all who entered, it was difficult to choose just two winners.
