Willow Art Gallery Visit 🎨

Last Wednesday, Stiperstones went on a trip to the Willow Art Gallery in the town centre as part of our art studies.

We had a lovely morning in the gallery, many children hadn’t been to the gallery before- so it was an exciting new experience for them.

Our visit started with Anthony from the gallery- giving us a tour and talking to us about all of the different forms of art we would find in the gallery. These were: abstract, still life, observational, realism, sculpture and 2D and 3D.

We were then given the opportunity to explore the gallery and do some of our our sketching in our books. The children had great fun and produced some lovely art work of their own.
