We have had another busy week in Nursery!
A number of children have enjoyed making food in the role play kitchen. Many of them have been pretending to make sandwiches. This interest has been extended when the children made their own sandwiches to eat at snack time.
Several children have completed our large hot air balloon jigsaw puzzle. This sparked lots of conversation about hot air balloons and how a number of the children had seen them in Cae Glas Park during the Summer. This interest has been fostered by the children having each having a balloon to blow up; first by blowing it and then by using a pump. The children used their mark making skills to write their name on their balloon and then had great fun throwing and catching their balloons before taking them home.
We are delighted to say that more of the children have been ‘Out of This World’ on our Nursery Behaviour Rocket this week.
We are looking forward to a week of celebrating Trinity Ted’s Birthday next week.
