Following on from our fantastic day creating Viking shields, swords and weapons Long Mynd have been practising our Shield Walls and war cries! The children loved putting on their Viking gear and acting as Vikings! Sneaking through the school and then being as loud and scary as possible in the hall! We also played some games in the hall where the children could re-enact the attack on Lindisfarne. Taking turns to be the Vikings and monks.
